Coping With Grief During The Holidays
When we are grieving, everyday can be a struggle, especially special moments to include holidays.
The best encouragement that I can give for the holidays, from a personal perspective, is to not isolate yourself. Surround yourself with loved ones even if it is just for a short while. Be with those who show your love and compassion. Pray and ask God to give you comfort to make it through everyday, but especially the special days and holidays. Remember the good moments that you had and reflect on those. It won’t be easy but there can still be some type of joy. The smallest of gestures and reflection can bring the biggest of smiles.
